Ehrhart Griffin & Associates (EGA) has enjoyed a long relationship with Creighton University, having acted as the primary land surveyor and civil engineer for a majority of projects on campus since 1988. Our services on new construction projects include boundary and topographic surveying, full civil design (including site layout design, grading design and NPDES permitting, storm water detention and drainage system design and post construction storm water management plans) and construction observations for both public and private improvements as well as the required NPDES reporting.
EGA’s reputation and relationships within the Omaha Public Works Department has been a great benefit to projects that require public improvements, such as street modifications, sewer separation or utility extensions. Our commitment and knowledge of the procedures and requirements for the public improvements provides a smooth and orderly transition from design to construction permitting. Our working knowledge of the closeout procedures required for these improvements enables the Contractor and University to obtain their certificates of occupation in a timely manner without delays.
All surveys and construction documents are prepared with state-of-the-art electronic surveying and computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) equipment and systems. A sampling of residence hall projects we have recently worked on include:
- McGloin Hall – a 275-bed residence hall
- Davis Square – a 250- bed (including 75 apartments) residence hall
- Opus Square – a 250- bed (including 100 apartments) residence hall
